STRAIGHTEN HER CROWN

BY: LIZ HARDIE

She must straighten her crown, can’t let them see

Let them see the tears and her broken heart

She was born with power, strength and with grace

No need to break, beautiful woman, such a unique work of art

Flawless, gorgeous, trustworthy, humble and kind

Jealousy and hatred by others will test her

In friendships and relationships, many will try to rip her heart out

Testing her emotions and worth, she must remain strong

Remain true to herself, the beautiful strong woman she knows she is

Built with strength, courage and power, an inner peace

The true test is her reactions to the negativity and hate thrown

Shall she rise above it and walk away gracefully

Or will she sink into depression, anxiety, fury and anger, the repercussions unknown

Stand up, turn around and straighten her crown as she walks away

Smirk, smile, laugh; happiness will fill her heart

She is better than this, she cannot be broken, she is strong and courageous

A true beauty, following her dreams, wisdom to impart

Beautiful woman, straighten her crown, she was not built to break
