STABILITY

By: Liz Hardie

Stability, what is your definition of stability and the importance of it in life

It is said to be continuing life in a regular, successful way without unexpected changes

I completely understand stability, I just never felt it was something I could apply

In my life, I’ve always expected change, though I’m sure many hoped for me it was a phase

So many people fear change in their life, yet change has never been one thing I questioned

I truly believe God has a plan for us and we must roll with the plan he has made

Roll with the punches, others decisions, learning to hide my feelings and were left unmentioned

Living such life has given me mental and physical strength, being quite the Jack of Spades

I feel I am leading my children down this same path of changes

Depending on who you speak with, these changes could be good or bad for them

Opinions have never mattered to me when others never witnessed life in these girls faces

Instability came from living what others call the “normal” life, yet instead of being loved they were condemned

My life with my children is very stable, extremely routine and we respect each other

Life may not have gone as we have planned, yet we have transformed our life into an amazing one

Knowing I have been my girls only constant in their entire lives, our love is strong and we protect one another

Although we may have moved several times, we have stayed grounded in our virtues, strength and love

When I hear, “They have no stability in their life..”, I must get the full story before agreeing or not

Everyone has a story, everyone has reasons for the life they live, and I know my story has taught me so much

Not only about myself but also about others, I learned how kind or awful others can be, behavior is taught

Even the most stable homes have issues, yet they are overlooked as they use their “perfect” life as a crutch

Noone has a perfect life or perfect love, yet if you truly feel you do, I am happy for you and I wish you the best

I was not blessed with this in adulthood, but I will continue to persevere each day for my two beautiful girls

They deserve a perfect life, as stable and routine as we like it to be, our happiness and love expressed

We will accept any change that comes our way without fear or question, continuing to ignore others concerns
