She has always felt like a marionette, controlled by a puppet master
Body always moving, voice never heard, yet always seen
Manipulation by the puppet masters controlling her, so deceitful and cunning
Constant feelings of depression, anxiousness, clearly disturbed, never calm or serene
Used and abused by each puppet master that came into her life
How they ever got access to those strings, she still does not know
Blaming herself for allowing them to control her, to manipulate her
Each one had their objectives, using her as a marionette in a toxic puppet show
The predator puppet masters used her as a human host for their needs
Dominating her, becoming a victim of their malicious, disgusting wants and fantasies
Pulling her strings, controlling her mind, body, and time, living off of her
Always wanting this marionette at their mercy, constant threats would be received
The emotionally unstable puppet masters used her empathy to overfill their cup
Emotional strings tugged hard, overused, becoming tethered, her body and mind exhausted and drained
Anger and rage were constant, yet they expected her to console and make love mid-fight
This marionette had to be attentive, therapeutic, mindful of them, or else be publicly shamed
Each puppet master used her, controlled her, breaking her down each day
Some used the marionette and tossed her in the garbage, just like they would trash
Others broke the marionette, strings so worn, they threw her to the side
Picking up the pieces was not easy, but thankfully, she was not made of glass
Although she was thrown away or to the side, her body and mind do not feel completely free
Often feeling tension on the invisible strings, from overuse and abuse by the puppet masters
Over time, the marionette has found it easier to cut herself free from the tethered strings slowly
Hoping soon to be free from the puppet masters who controlled, manipulated, and dominated her
