Disappear and reappear, in and out of her life, you continue to go
How on Earth with these actions do you expect her love for you to grow
When she needed you most you were never there
Making her feel like you truly did not care
You had other plans or your work was always top excuse
When in town she had to deal with your different girlfriends, their mental and physical abuse
Your little girl was always the last priority to you, never the top
One thing you excelled at was spending money, showing love was taking her to shop
All she really ever wanted, especially as a young child, was to spend time with you
No one else, just time with you, so she knew and felt she was important too
But rarely did she get this and after many years, she knew no one but you was to blame
The older she got, visits and phone calls became less and less, she no longer enjoyed your game
You disappear and reappear, she wasn’t pushing you or begging you for love or attention
Every girlfriend you had and friends seemed more import than her but this she never mentioned
As someone who loves her, you should have seen her pain
But to you it was convenience, and her mother wiped her tears, teaching her to dance in the rain
She loves you and never wants to hurt you, so her true feelings have remained hidden
A young, broken teen, hoping you see and hear her pain, get a clearer vision
Stubborn like you, she will hang onto this pain, but only until it turns into disgust
Her own father has her her, so rarely now does she trust
An amazing girl, kind and loving, perfect in every sense of the word
From you, acceptance, love, attention, is no too much to ask, to help her be more assured
You disappear and reappear, weeks or months without a call or text, how do you expect her to feel
You should be a man that is there for her, yet from the pain you’ve caused, she just wants to heal
Mentally she is confused and just wants loved, to feel wanted
Hiding, refusing to reveal feelings and memories that have haunted
A resilient, gorgeous girl who will rise up and achieve so much in future years
If he would have been the father he promised, it could have saved her many questions, many tears
